Yesteryear Collection

Van type fire apparatus was the rage in 1903. The ideal rescue van included many of the emergency devices found on standard fire engines (sirens, bells, flashing lights, extinguishers), but also included many other features not previously available. The van interior could accomodate many fire fighters with enough headroom and storage area. The exterior sides were filled with storage compartments. These vehicles provided protection from the weather to fire fighters and their equipment. This GMC includes roof racks with tarps, search lights and a 40 ft. extension ladder.
